Theatre / We're not enough people to perform Shakespeare
Show, TheaterCulture, Leisure, Student life, Staff life, School life
November 5, 2026Saint-Martin-d'Hères - Amphidice
On stage, a table strewn with books of Shakespeare's plays. Around it, a woman, two men, and some bad news to announce: the show will not be performed.
There aren't enough performers and the budget is insufficient. But the audience is there! And they want to hear the author's words!
The three performers debate and compete to create ingenuity from constraints. This show by the company Le Chat du Désert is a declaration of love for the stage and for those who transform "what's the point?" into "in spite of everything."
