Free protection kits

You are in financial difficulty and it happens to you regularly :
  • Not being able to use as much sanitary protection as you need?
  • Having to choose between buying protection and another essential purchase?
Protection kits are available free of charge at Service of health Student in Grenoble and health youth center in Valence. Menstrual briefs, washable or disposable pads, menstrual cups... Put together your own kit with the advice of on-site staff.

  • Group workshops
    Group workshops are organized regularly at the FabLab.
  • Self-guided appointment
    Not available during the proposed time slots? You can also book an appointment directly with the FabLab and arrange a time during opening hours. You'll find all the necessary equipment, (organic) fabric, patterns (for period underwear and pads), and technical support on site!

In Valence: the Étoffe pour touffes workshops

Workshops are taking place on the Valence campus, at the Centre health Young people, with Etoffes pour touffes, to make your own washable menstrual pads.

Participation in an association

Want toact collectively on the issue of menstruation for the benefit of other students at Grenoble Alpes University? Create or join an accredited association to propose an eco-responsible project around menstrual precariousness: distributing protection, making alternative or participative dispensers, raising awareness, organizing sewing workshops...

From training are available:
  • Economic, health, environmental and social issues linked to the rules, and help with setting up events on the subject.
  • Menstrual panty sewing.
  • Manufacture of wooden dispensers.
Dates and registration at the beginning of the school year.
