Entry inventory of fixtures

An initial inventory of fixtures allows us to assess the condition of the property before handing over the keys. At the end of the contract, an exit inventory will be carried out in comparison, and this will establish whether your security deposit is reimbursed, in part or in full.
During the visit, remember to check that any equipment is working properly, and to record any damage or malfunctions observed.

At the end, a report is drawn up in duplicate for you to sign with the owner (or lessor). Be sure to keep a copy of the inventory of fixtures.

Once you've moved in, you have access to 10 days to report any changes to the inventory of fixtures by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by e-mail. In this case, send photos of any shortcomings and ask for confirmation of receipt.

At the same time as signing the contract, you will have to pay the various entry fees in the home: security deposit, agency fees where applicable, first month's rent.

Please note

The inventory of fixtures can be carried out by a professional on behalf of the agency or the landlord. In this case, you will have to pay half of the fees charged by the professional (maximum €3 per m² for the tenant).
