Carpooling is a practical, ecological and economical way of getting around by car. Numerous sites offer to put drivers and passengers in touch with each other. All you have to do is announce the journeys you're proposing or looking for, the dates and the price. All that's left for interested travelers to do is get in touch and organize a trip together.

Carpooling to and from campuses in Grenoble

Caesug provides a platform for carpooling to and from the Grenoble campuses: Saint-Martin-d'Hères, the science peninsula and the health site at La Tronche.

Carsharing

Car-sharing is an easy and practical system for renting a car on an occasional or regular basis. In Grenoble, Citiz Alpes-Loire offers self-service cars.

Park-and-ride facilities

To avoid the city by car, there are numerous park-and-ride facilities (P+R) in the Grenoble area, close to streetcar or bus stations. Parking is free for TAG ticket holders and Mvélo+ locker subscribers.

Cabs and Uber

Grenoble and its conurbation are served by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by Grenoble cabs and cabs from the Grenoble suburbs.

To book a cab :  You can also use the Uber app to get around Grenoble and the surrounding area. To order a ride, you need to register online in order to have a user profile.
