Registration fees

University fees include tuition, library fees and administration costs (these amounts are set at national level). A contribution to student and campus life is also required before enrolling in initial training courses.

Student life and campus contribution (CVEC)

Each student in initial training in a higher education establishment must pay the CVEC to the Crous before enrolling in your school. The purpose of this tax is to finance preventive actions and projects that contribute to improving living and studying conditions and energizing campus life.

  • French students or nationals of a country of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
  • Foreign students from outside Europe in the following cases:
    • Students residing in Quebec.
    • Students holding a long-term resident card or students who have declared their tax household or are attached to a tax household in France for more than two years.
    • Students who are beneficiaries of refugee status or subsidiary protection, or children of a beneficiary of such status.
    • Students enrolled in doctoral programs, accreditation to supervise research, and postgraduate degrees in medical, dental, and pharmaceutical studies.
    • Students enrolled in a preparatory class for the Grandes Écoles, regardless of their nationality, and having a double enrollment in a Bachelor's degree at the university.
    • Students enrolled in a public higher education institution under the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, at all levels (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate) for the academic year 2018-2019.
    • Students enrolled in a French as a Foreign Language center in France before the start of the 2019-2020 academic year.
