The University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and its constituent institutions, Grenoble INP-UGA and Ensag-UGA, are committed to listening to, supporting, and protecting witnesses and victims of all acts and forms of gender-based and sexual violence (GBV), as well as processing reports. Whether you are a staff member, student, or witness or victim of GBV, discrimination, harassment, or LGBT+phobia, you can use the reporting system.
Listen
We have set up an online declaration form for staff and students of UGA and its constituent establishments Grenoble INP - UGA and Ensag - UGA.
The data entered in the form is received by the program coordinator, based in the Legal and Institutional Affairs Department (DAJI) of UGA. She then forwards the situation to a pair of VSS-discrimination liaisons. Like the coordinator, they are bound by confidentiality.
A listening and guidance interview is arranged with the reporting individual, during which the two designated case managers listen attentively and with empathy. During the interview, the case manager informs the reporting individual about the support services and resources available to them (psychological, medical, legal).
Support
The processing and follow-up of the report is carried out by the coordinator, in conjunction with the members of the DAJI unit and the general management delegated to human resources of the UGA or the constituent establishment.
- For staff , support is provided by occupational health services, occupational psychologists and the prevention service.
- For students , including doctoral students and interns in medical and pharmacy faculties, a partnership with the associations France Victime 38 and Remaid 26 allows victims of sexual violence, discrimination or harassment to benefit from psychological and legal support adapted to their needs.
Protection
Protective measures may be taken by the university presidency or the management of the constituent establishments, such as: an adaptation of the workstation, the workplace, precautionary measures of distancing.
Depending on the circumstances, the victim may be able to declare a work accident, take sick leave, or request functional protection from the university president or the management of the constituent institutions.
The university president or the management of the constituent institutions may decide to initiate an external administrative investigation depending on the situation.
Handling of reports
In view of the facts and/or the results of the administrative investigation, precautionary, disciplinary or reporting measures may be taken by the university president or the management of the constituent establishments, as well as referral, if necessary under Article 40 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to the judicial courts of Grenoble and Valence.
