Set off on foot to discover the rich biodiversity of the trees of the Bastille!
We are four students at the University of Grenoble Alpes and are continuing the TERRA thematic program of the UGA Graduate School.
This program aims to train a new generation of professionals and scientists with the expert knowledge needed to address climate and environmental challenges, through an interdisciplinary approach.

As part of our research project, we wish to collect and analyze the average level of knowledge of the population in terms of biodiversity and in particular on trees.

Indeed, today the main path that climbs to the Bastille is used by many people every day, but would we all be able to recognize the trees that line this path?

A questionnaire is available at the start of the path to climb to the Bastille, from the archaeology museum; it offers a series of questions on 11 different trees that you can observe during your walk, alone or with your family.

This questionnaire is for educational purposes only; it will be used strictly within the framework of our research, and the responses are anonymous.

Required equipment: A smartphone and an internet connection.
