Where does waste go once it's put in the yellow bin? How is it sorted? Come and visit the Grenoble Metropolitan Area sorting centre.

Packaging, cardboard, and plastics often all end up in the same place: the yellow bin. To make the most of our waste, it then needs to be sorted. This is the work done at the Athanor sorting center for the Grenoble Metropolitan Area: human intervention, optical sorters, magnets... the process is well worth a visit! This tour and the educational trail offered will help you better understand why it's important to sort your waste properly and how the sorting chain works once the bins are collected.
