Students, doctoral candidates, and PhD candidates! Vote to elect your representatives to the central councils! The right to decide, the desire to change things, the ability to participate, to improve your daily life, to act for your future… It's time to VOTE!
From Tuesday, March 31 to Thursday, April 2, 2026, students, doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates of the University of Grenoble Alpes and its constituent institutions are invited to vote electronically to elect their representatives to the central councils of the university.

Electing your representatives means helping to make your voice heard in the university's decision-making bodies.

Every two years, students elect their representatives to the 3 central councils.
  • the Board of Directors – CA;
  • the Research Commission – CR;
  • the Commission for Training and University Life – CFVU.

But why should I vote?

Campus life, disability policy, ecological transition, equality, health Sports... Vote online to designate the students who will represent you on the board of directors, the training and student life committee and the research committee.
  • The board of directors – CA : 41 members including 6 students (+ 6 alternates) and 1 doctoral student (+ 1 alternate)
  • The Commission for Training and University Life – CFVU : 48 members including 16 students (+ 16 alternates)
  • The research committee – CR : 46 members including 6 doctoral students (+ 6 alternates)

So what is the purpose of these bodies?

  • The Board of Directors – CA – determines the policy of the institution (budget, institutional contract, internal regulations…).
  • The Commission for Training and University Life – CFVU – of the Academic Council has a decision-making role in the allocation of resources for training, rules relating to examinations and the evaluation of teaching, student guidance and support, and student life.
  • The Research Commission – CR – of the Academic Council has a decision-making role in allocating resources, setting operating rules for laboratories, and disseminating scientific and technical culture.
  • The meeting of the two commissions – CFVU and CR – constitutes the Academic Council .
    In plenary session, it gives an opinion on strategic directions in research, training and disability.
    It is consulted on measures relating to the exercise of academic freedoms.
  • The disciplinary section with jurisdiction over students is an offshoot of the academic council.

Who votes?

All students enrolled in initial or continuing education in 2025/2026 at Université Grenoble Alpes are automatically registered on the electoral lists.

How to vote?

  • The vote will take place from Tuesday, March 31, at 9 a.m. to Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 4 p.m.;
  • Voting is conducted exclusively electronically;
  • Each student will receive a personal email containing their login information..
    To vote, three pieces of information will be needed.
    • an identifier;
    • a password;
    • as well as the answer to a security question.
