An interview with journalist and author Chloé Célerien

March 20, 2026

As part of Equality Month 2026, DSDA invites you to a meeting and discussion on sexism and gender inequality in sport!

On this occasion, journalist and author Chloé Célérien will address, without taboos, the inequalities and resistance that permeate the world of sports, using examples from recent events. From Tommie Smith to Imane Khelif, and including Victor Wembayama and Sakina Karchaoui, she will examine the norms and deep-seated tensions that sport reveals in the face of equality issues. The event is designed as an open exchange with students.

A sports enthusiast, Chloé Célerien grew up in Valence. She then studied in Grenoble, and later worked for 13 years in Paris alongside Thierry Ardisson.
Author of the graphic novel "Générations Poing levé" (2021), she draws portraits of 10 committed and inspiring sportswomen and athletes, from Mohamed Ali to Tommie Smith via Megan Rapinoe or Marcus Rashford.
