The student portal of Université Grenoble Alpes

The Association des Géologues de l'Institut Dolomie (AGID), based in the UGA's Earth Sciences department, has been a more or less active player in student associations for the past 35 years: AGID now also sees itself as a knowledge integrator with links to the scientific and associative communities. AGID organizes meetings with Master's students, hikes and field trips, and during the Covid crisis it acted as a federator to continue the conviviality around Science by organizing online events. In particular, the Association works to help its members enter the world of work by raising awareness of the various fields of application of the earth sciences, to spread geological culture more widely among the general public, and to promote cultural and attractive activities.
