Following L'après-midi d'un foehn, Phia Ménard, true to her enduring dreamlike style, continues her "Pièces du Vent" cycle with Nocturne (Parade). Conceived as a grand journey, the piece plunges the audience into darkness to better embark them on an enchanted quest in search of light.
In a world where uncertainty seems to dominate, Phia Ménard sets out in search of her own Wonderland.
By plunging the audience, arranged around a circular stage, into a black hole, the director, accompanied by two puppeteers, invites them to a sense of wonder, imagining a journey into a world in metamorphosis, where humanity is reinventing itself. Along the way, they encounter all sorts of magical landscapes inhabited by fantastical plastic puppets, inflated by fans and busy making their way through this darkened celestial vault.
The soundtrack will consist of music that spans centuries, all passing between the layers and the sonic intelligence of Ivan Roussel.
