Like many new buildings over the years, MUSE will soon be adorned with its own artwork, and more specifically, a monumental sculpture. On this occasion, UGA students and staff are invited to participate in the creation of this artwork. A small piece from each of them will contribute to a larger artistic whole. By simply filling out a questionnaire, members of the UGA community can claim a piece, a part, a facet of the future artwork…
Becoming a UGA sculptor is very easy!
The UV LAB design and architecture laboratory, which has been entrusted with the creation, production and installation of a work of art on the forecourt of Muse, is offering all members of the university the opportunity to join the project The Dragon and the Serpent . Construction of the artwork will take place from June to the end of August and its official inauguration will take place in October 2026.
In the meantime, to add your contribution to the work currently under construction, simply fill out the online questionnaire and part of the artwork "The Dragon and the Serpent" will thus become your creation…
By providing your age, the sculpture will be more or less flared in certain places;
By providing your country and city of birth, the artwork will adopt a different curvature and twists;
By specifying your gender, the scales of the structure will be more or less inclined;
By choosing a color from among 4, the final monument will take on a particular appearance;
By opting for a city or nature preference, the whole will offer a more or less dense covering and cladding.
