The last film in the cycle "Life of computer hardware and discovery of the often hidden side of digital", Complicit – by Heather White and Lynn Zhang – deals with the manufacturing side of digital equipment.
Synopsis
Thousands of Chinese workers have contracted incurable diseases from the chemicals used to manufacture the electronic components in our cell phones. Filmed over three years, the documentary follows former employees fighting to improve working conditions in factories that supply the world's biggest brands.
