Roundtable discussion on learning disabilities on March 10, 2026

As part of Equality Month 2026, DSDA invites you to a round table on inclusion organised around the exhibition "The Odyssey of the Invisibles".

See you on Tuesday, March 10th at the DSDA library starting at 12:15 pm

This round table will be structured in several parts:

  • Understanding Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs) : presentation by Karine Mazens, Professor of Psychology at UGA, whose research at the Laboratory of Psychology and NeuroCognition (LPNC) focuses on children's mathematical learning and dyscalculia. She is also the director of the Master's program in Child Neuropsychology.
  • Student Voices : Testimonies from students with disabilities in the DSDA
  • Support services at UGA : presentation by the Director of the Disability Support Service (SAH) regarding the accommodations offered to students with disabilities at UGA
  • Perspectives on the exhibition : testimony from Elvire Cassan, author and journalist, co-creator of the exhibition
Following the round table, a time for socializing and discussion will be offered, as well as a book signing session with Elvire Cassan.

The photo exhibition for equality will be on display throughout the month of March at the DSDA library.
