Screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
The sexual health center offers a screening program designed to provide high-quality support in a confidential, caring environment. The program comprises several complementary stages, which can be followed in full or in part, depending on the needs and wishes of the person being cared for:
- Interview with a marriage and family counselor.
This interview is highly recommended, especially for initial screening or if you have questions about sexuality, consent or prevention.
- Interview with a nurse.
A time for discussion to understand the person's needs, followed by the necessary biological samples taken by the nurse or by self-sampling (blood, urine or vaginal samples).
- Delivery of results.
The results are explained during an appointment with a doctor or nurse. If necessary, prescriptions for treatment, vaccinations or further referrals are suggested.
This pathway enables reliable, high-quality screening, with support at every stage.
