May 19, 2026 Valence
As part of the "Fluid Circulations, Nourishing Our Relationship with Water" program, led by the Faculty of Economics of Grenoble

Researcher-kayapaglider in metascience, Barthélémy Champenois continues his epic journey.

This time we find it riding a water molecule in an intertwining of more or less natural cycles.

From his chaotic takeoff to his inevitable fall, we will follow him through his eccentric demonstrations and rigorous interludes. It is at a dam that he will have an unexpected encounter with a short-armed river engineer.

This will lead our meta-scientist down a previously unsuspected path. Does the length of arms influence the flow of water?

The performance will be followed by a post-show discussion led by Yvan Renou, lecturer-researcher at UGA, PACTE laboratory and Nicolas Canova, lecturer-researcher at the University of Lille, LACTH laboratory.

A cocktail reception will conclude the evening.
