Lou Trotignon's Grouper Show

Featured Show
March 25, 2026 Saint-Martin-d'Hères - Louis Weil Amphitheater
To close out Equality Month, come and see the show Mérou by Lou Trotignon!

The show

Since the Grouper changes gender, why not Lou? At birth, her family and doctors decreed that Lou would be a woman, and Lou doesn't agree. Lou humorously recounts her personal transition story: from taking testosterone, through stripping, to discovering the queer world. Lou thus echoes questions we all ask ourselves: are we obligated to be what we've been told to be? Can we reinvent our bodies, our relationship to love? Is it possible, then, to rewrite our own story?

A show directed by Amiel Maucade in artistic collaboration with Sandra Calderan, presented by Quartier Libre and Fourchettes Suisse Productions.
