Synopsis
In the small town of Jackson, Mississippi, during the 1960s, three women who seemed destined to be complete opposites forge an incredible friendship. They are bound by a secret project that puts them all in danger: writing a book that challenges the most deeply ingrained social conventions of their time. From this unlikely alliance, an extraordinary solidarity emerges. Through their shared commitment, each finds the courage to disrupt the established order and confront the townspeople who resist the winds of change.
